 I love this song!! It has such a fun, "road trip" feel to it. Like, it's the perfect song to listen to when you're on vacation, creating new memories and having the best of times! 

Today is officially day 2 of Hanson Day Weekend 2019. I'm hoping they will live stream the Hanson Day concert tomorrow!! I haven't seen any mention of it anywhere and I'm starting to freak out a little! I look forward to those streams like I look forward to Christmas morning! They always help with the extreme FOMO I feel every year (except, of course, for Hanson Day 2017! Best weekend of my life! Speaking of, two years ago from RIGHT NOW, TODAY I was on a plane headed for my first ever Hanson Day adventure!! It truly was the Best of Times!). Regardless, I can't wait for the new EP! I hope it's better than last years .... sorry Hanson!

I "celebrated" Hanson Day today by sporting my Hanson shirt. I sound so pathetic and lame, it's sad! I was also planning on making my annual Hanson Day cookies but it didn't work out :( I'll definitely be making them tomorrow though! I'm planning on making Snicker-doodle roll out cookies aka Snicker doodle sugar cookies (because a) I don't want to make frosting for regular sugar cookies and b) Snicker-doodles have just sounded really good to me lately and I want some! So, I'm gonna make some!), I hope they turn out! I swear I'm always trying a new recipe every year I make these, haha. It's fitting though, Hanson gives me new music every year, I try out a new cookie recipe in their honor every year! It's a win win!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
