We are ONE WEEK away from VALENTINE'S DAY!!

So ..... KISS. I don't know ANYTHING about this band other than they look like this:


Crazy costumes, lots of make up and a long, long tongue. Ew. That's all the knowledge I posses about this band. I've never listened to any of their music before, I wouldn't be able to tell you a single song I even recognized by them. So I was just as shocked as you all might be seeing me post a song by KISS, when I came across this song on the youtubes (and saw a somewhat "normal" looking KISS in the music video). You should know by now, that I like old, 80's music. It's something I grew up on even though I was a kid in the 90's/early 2000's I know more 80's music than 90's music and even some early 2000's. And that's the only explanation I can give as to why I am posting this song by this band! I do like the song, I like the melody and the words are really cute. So it's very fitting for the month's challenge and Valentine playlist :)

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
