We return to Mary, as she wondered at the miracle of this Holy Child who slept peacefully in her arms. I love the scripture that reads, "But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart." (Luke 2:19). I hope to take more time, in this final week leading up to Christmas, to ponder. Ponder the true meaning and message of Christmas. Ponder on my relationship with Christ. Ponder on the significance of his birth and the impact of his life and how it affects my life every day.

I love the song, Mary Did You Know? and how it beautifully describes the many different ways the Savior, Mary's son, would impact and change the world. I ponder the questions: Did Mary know? Did she have any idea what her son would do? Did she know who her son truly was? Did she know that he was the lamb of God and the great I am?
