I heard this song for the first time a few weeks ago. To be honest, I haven't really listened to it since my first listen back then, but I overheard a part of it today on the radio today and I decided I wanted to listen to it again. So, it's going to be here! I really like what I remember hearing. I can't believe Christmas is in only 3 days! I did some grocery shopping today for Christmas and it was extremely overwhelming and exhausting (not to mention everyone else was doing it too!). I have to remind myself to step back, breathe and remember that it's not about the food or finding the perfect gift, but about the gift. As I sit next to my Christmas tree in the dark, I feel the calm and peace of the season.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
