 Back to the musicals! The Phantom of the Opera is a classic, Gothic love story and fantastic musical (I loved the music growing up) that is perfect for Halloween! I'm actually really surprised I've never posted any of the music here before! This song in particular has always stood out as a dramatic, intense and dark piece. I'm going to have to go listen to this album now! I haven't heard any of the music from this musical in years!

I watched this version a couple of years ago (for the 25th Anniversary of the musical!) and LOVED it! I think this Christine (Sierra Boggess) is so beautiful and did such an incredible job!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
