HAPPY OCTOBER Y'ALL!!!

I am so excited for this month and this time of year! Fall is in the air and I am ready to start celebrating! Beginning with HALLOWEEN! That's right! Halloween is BACK! And this month, I am going to post a "Halloween Inspired" song EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!! Let's get started!

AHHHHH!!! I am so, so, SO excited!! Pentatonix announced that they are releasing another FULL-LENGTH Christmas album October 26th!!! Pentatonix Christmas music is my favorite!! I had a suspicion they were working on one....so when they announced it, I was THRILLED! Dreams come true :) They've been going strong releasing Christmas music every year for the last 6 years now. I hope they never stop!

OK. So you may be thinking "Why are you talking about Christmas music in October!?" Well, this song is the ultimate collision of Holidays! Although it's called "Making Christmas" and it's from a movie called The Nightmare Before CHRISTMAS this is still mostly a Halloween song, at least in my opinion. Although it is going to be on their new Christmas album. So that should be interesting. Anyway, PTX SLAYS this song!! It's so creepy yet cool and it's the perfect song to kick-off October with (as contradictory as the title might be)! Enjoy! Are you feeling the Halloween spirit yet??

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
