I have loved this song for quite some time. Part of the reason may be it's a love song for someone with social anxiety. And some of the lyrics in this song are just so incredibly powerful. For someone with crippling social anxiety, it is difficult to even begin to hope that someone will love and accept you for who you are. Evan's entire verse is so beautifully said from the point of view of a socially anxious and awkward person who desires love and acceptance. I hope to find that someday. I really do. I don't know if it's possible or if it will happen but if it does, my thoughts and hopes and feelings will echo Evan when he says:

"I never thought there'd be someone like you who would want me, so I give you ten thousand reasons to not let me go. But if you really see me, if you like me for me and nothing else. Well, that's all that I've wanted for longer than you could possibly know!"
