It's that time of year again....

The Month of Love!!

To be perfectly honest though, I've been hitting a new low lately. I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried counseling. I've tried getting into a schooling program. I've stopped doing something I love so that I can move forward. Nothing seems to be working. I've just found myself more and more depressed and alone.

But, I don't want to focus on the negatives (I just had to explain why I've been so MIA this past little while). And I want to keep with my tradition of spreading romantic music throughout the short month of February. So today, let's get things started with....

I love this song :) I really do. It's catchy and sweet. It's got a nice message; don't wait for a special occasion like a birthday or holiday to tell the people around you how you feel. We should be saying "I love you" more often, every day even, and expressing our love more freely. It's something I need to seriously work on! Maybe I can make an extra effort this month.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
