We Three Kings
Song: We Three Kings
Artist: Alexander Jean
Very cool cover of a rare Christmas song that isn't sung, played or heard very often. I really like this arrangement, especially the "star of wonder" part. And I don't even mind the girl (at first I wasn't sure how I would feel with a girl singing lead on a song like this but she has a pretty voice so I like it). Also, who knew Mark Ballas could sing!? He's so talented.

We three kings of Orient are
Bearing gifts we traverse afar.
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.
Oh star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light.
Born a king on Bethlehem's plain,
Gold I bring to crown Him again,
King forever, ceasing never
Over us all to reign.
Frankincense to offer have I.
Incense owns a Deity nigh.
Prayer and praising all men raising,
Worship Him, God on high.
Myrrh is mine: Its bitter perfume
Breaths a life of gathering gloom.
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding dying,
Sealed in the stone-cold tomb.
Oh star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light.
Oh star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light.
Glorious now behold Him arise,
King and God and Sacrifice.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Sounds through the earth and skies.
Following yonder star.
Pentatonix also covered this song on the Sing-Off I guess. Pretty cool.....doesn't compare with their actual Christmas albums they have put out since then, but PTX really is amazing no matter what! So much talent!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
