I hope to make this upcoming a Christmas to remember. There is so much changing in my family. And things keep continuing to change. It's getting harder and harder to get everyone together. We're all growing up and at times, it feels like we're growing apart in ways. Some family members don't want to participate in childhood traditions anymore. Some are more concerned with spending time with friends. Others are too stressed with work and the pressures of life. It makes me sad. But, I'm going to try hard to make this Christmas special for my family. And if my family doesn't want to join in, then for myself.
Twinkling lights
A chill is in the air
And carols everywhere
Close your eyes, it's almost here
Candles and cards
And favorite movie scenes
The smell of evergreen
As special as it's always been
And I have a dream or two
Maybe they will come true
Setting our hopes on a big snow tonight
We'll wake up to a world of white
It's gonna be a Christmas to remember
