Grateful For Music Challenge Day 12

Song: Shadow Children
Artist: Mindy Gledhill, Pocketful of Poetry

I've been excited to post this one! This song is so beautiful yet almost feels sad at the same time. There is a "Peter Pan" theme going on which of course I love! There are references to lost boys, mermaids, pixie, flying through a window, growing up, etc. This has always been one of my favorites off the album, I hope you like it to! And that it reminds you to stay young and NEVER grow up!

Far away in the light of day
when we as children played.
Prone to run in the setting sun
and slowly fade away.

Where, where did we go, oh
when we lost our shadows?
I'll fly through your window
if you tell me a story

of long lost boys and their wooden toys
and mermaids by the sea,
Pixie dust and a gust of wind
to sail us through our dreams.

Where, where did we go, oh
when we lost our shadows?
I'll fly through your window
if you tell me a story

of why we must all grow up
to the applause of society's mascarade.
I find it odd.

Where, where did we go, oh
when we lost our shadows?
I'll fly through your window
if you tell me a story now.

Saw this and I....just had to!
