This week I will be posting songs that I love by Jack Johnson. I have been a fan of Jack's for several years now and I'm honestly quite shocked and surprised at myself for not posting more of his amazing music! That changes today. And to kick off my week highlighting this fantastic artist I have chosen the very first Jack Johnson song I heard and fell in love with, Upside Down.
 
I love this song! It contains such a universal truth for anyone of any age: you can do whatever you want to do. If you put your mind to it and work hard to achieve something, you can do it! This is something I am still learning and still believe in. I love how simple this song is but it contains such an empowering message. One of my favorites for sure!
 
And who can get enough of the cuteness in this video!? I don't care who you are or how old you are, this movie, Curious George, is adorable and Jack Johnson was the absolute perfect choice to do the music for this movie. George is just too cute, I love him so much!!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
