Today has not been a "perfect day" but it has been a good day. I'm happy. Happi-er. Also, today has been a crazy day, weather wise. It's gone from beautiful sunshine, to dark grey clouds, to pouring rain, back to sunshine, back to rain! The rain and then sun weather changes made me think of this song that I first heard (and loved) from the animated stories of Peter Rabbit. :) See below
 



Oh the memories of my childhood! They make me happy! This song is gorgeous and peaceful and perfect for a day like this. I love it. It's so soothing. Really helps calm the storm, whether it's outside or inside.
 
 
The rain has moved on
And left a new day
Nothing seems to move everything is still

The shadows and light
That move with the wind
Hidden violets grow splashed with summer spray

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
