I've been on a bit of a Jack Johnson kick these past couple of days. I think I'm going to dedicate all of next week (except for Sunday) to Jack Johnson! He's an artist I've loved for years now but who has had very little "song-time" here.
 
I'm feeling moody and down right now. And the fact that I've probably just eaten my daily caloric intake in Cadbury Eggs, doesn't help. Sometimes, all it takes is one video or picture of someone else's life where it shows people my age or much younger having happier and more exciting and fulfilling lives than me like relationships and jobs, that will cause me to just deflate. I get jealous, I'll admit it! I have got to get off the Internet and detox again. It's bad for me.
 
I love this song and I just feel it in my soul right now. It just speaks to me, ya know? Sorry, listening to Jack Johnson also gets me in a super indie/hippy mood where I just feel all the love or pain and nature and stuff, hahaha. What?

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
