Throwing it back to the time I used to always post Hanson songs :) I've been really getting back into the "Hanson Mania" lately because I really want to go to Hanson Day this year! Ever since I first learned about it I've wanted to go. And this year marks the 20th anniversary of Middle of Nowhere aka MMMBop so it's sure to be insane! And I want to be a part of it! I really hope and pray I can make it happen! I've already been looking up hotels in Tulsa ....

Anyway, I started singing this song today in the shower (TMI?). I know I've been out of the Hanson loop for a while since I couldn't remember all the words! In fact, I've been having a hard time remembering the words to a lot of their songs I used to have memorized by heart! I guess it's time I start playing my Hanson albums again while I work, clean, drive, cook, etc.

Life. Is. Hard. I know, I know. All I seem to talk about is how hard and sad my life is. But that's all I can focus on. Underneath fits my mood. Underneath is a beautiful song, lyrically so meaningful and applicable to my life. I forgot how amazing this song is. So that's why you get it today. Maybe this isn't the most positive way to start the month off but it's the most real and honest way. Last month I had to fake excitement and enthusiasm for my Month of Love Songs Challenge. I really wasn't feeling .... love. Of any kind. To be honest, some days were downright painful for me, just trying to think of a cute "love" song. So, I'm glad it's March. I'm glad it's a new month. And I'm glad I can just get back to posting songs that reflect me and my thoughts and feelings.
