Hahahaha. Wow. Another Lady and the Tramp II song!?! Please don't ask me why I love some of these cheesy, old, cartoon movie songs so much. I just .... do. They are so sweet, I can't help it. And I couldn't think of anyone I love more that I could dedicate this last day of love 2017 to then my family (which btw includes my dog. Yes, I consider my dog to be a part of my family. Fitting since dogs are singing a song about family love. It's perfect). My family. The people who love me unconditionally. The people who accept me, just the way I am. Who seem to see past my imperfections and insecurities. The people I love spending my time with most. The people I fight and argue with most. The people I would do anything for and defend with my life. The people who I get to spend an eternity with. My family. My best (and for the most part, only) friends. I'm so thankful for them. I don't know how to express that enough. I never will be able to. I just love them "more than words" will ever be able to say ;) They are my life. I love them. And this song could not be more fitting. The whole second verse is everything. Perfectly captures what "family" means and is to me.
 
Thanks for joining me for another month of LOVE songs! I'm pretty bummed that I ended up missing a day (just like I did last year! Some things never change I guess) but I do think I gave plenty of good sweet and romantic music to tide over even the most hard core, love-sick, "hopeless romantic" out there. To be honest, I'm kind of happy to be done posting sappy love songs every day. It's been a hard month for me and I haven't been feeling very "lovey-dovey" this time around. I'm excited to getting back to just posting whatever songs feel most relevant to my mood and situation. But I'm happy with my results and will probably be doing this all over again next year! So stay tuned!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us. When we stop and allow ourselves to "give in" to the pain and sadness that comes with the stress of life, that's when we begin to slip and fall into a deep depression.
