Well. I made it out alive! And well!! And even happy :) The Lord truly answered my prayer. When I was scared and when I felt alone and abandoned in that fear, the Lord delivered me. I am so grateful. I am grateful for the opportunities I have, even though they can be really hard and scary for me, I am grateful that I get to experience tender mercies and learn and grow. I am grateful.

This song doesn't exactly match my current situation, because I wasn't around people who I needed to survive, just the situation itself. But it came to mind so I've decided to roll with it.
