HAPPY WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!

Can you believe Christmas is almost here!?!? In ONE WEEK from TODAY it will be CHRISTMAS DAY!!! I can't wait!! And I am thrilled it falls on a Sunday this year! I have been trying to remember and ponder the true meaning of Christmas this year and the fact that Christmas will be on a Sunday is just too perfect.

I first heard this song in a Shaytards vlog two years ago! I loved it. I looked up the song and found this version. The words are so beautiful and ring so true. The birth of our Savior is a gift. The story of that First Christmas night, in Bethlehem, with the humble shepherds and stable, Mary and Joseph, the host of Angels, the wise-men three all come to worship the new-born King. It warms my heart. It never gets old and it truly is the most beautiful story. I remember Colette (the woman in the Shaytards vlog who sings this song) said something that has always stayed with me for some reason. It was a powerful testimony and witness of the reality of the birth and life of Jesus Christ. She said: "Some people think it's just a story....but it's not just a story to me." I echo that last statement, "it's not just a story to me." It's real. He's real. Christmas is real because of Him. I hope this beautiful song touches your heart and invites the true meaning of Christmas into your hearts and home this holiday season. Merry Christmas!!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
