It's OCTOBER!!!
 
And if you can't tell from my background and new blog design I'm SUPER excited for Halloween!! And for the holidays in general. I feel like October is really where it all starts. We are well into fall by this point and the anticipation and excitement of the holiday fun is in the air. It's a magical feeling.
 
I'm going to try my best to post a song every day in October (to make up for my lack of blogging this year)! I'll be posting Halloween related songs as the holiday draws nearer so for now, I'll just share whatever songs I'm currently listening to and loving or just whatever comes to mind.

You should know by now that I am a HUGE fan of Pentatonix! They are crazy talented and I love what they do. They recently released a cover of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" and they sing the song with Dolly and it is FANTASTIC!! I've been slightly obsessed. So, that's the song I'll be kicking this month off with. Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
