HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I am not a fan of this movie....or of Tim Burton....but the song is so fitting and perfect for today's holiday, HALLOWEEN!! And it's a pretty fun song, I have to admit. Also, some people actually consider this to be a Christmas movie....to that I will do my best witch's cackle, HEE-HEE-HEE-HEE!! Or my best impersonation of Vincent Price's iconic laugh at the end of Thriller: MWUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! It's not a Christmas movie. Also, I hope you have enjoyed my week of Halloween songs! I've really loved doing it and listening to all of the fun Halloween inspired music I've found :) You can find all of my Halloween music collection, here.

I hope everyone had a "SPOOK-TACULAR" Halloween!! Even though things weren't quite as fun and magical as last year, I still had a wonderful holiday. It actually went better than I had anticipated so I am very happy :) I love the holidays! I love this magical time of year! I love my family so much and tonight I am so grateful for every single, individual member of my goofy, crazy, nerdy, cheesy family. My heart is full. As is my stomach ;) I spent the day baking and cleaning and baking and mixing and frosting and baking and eating!! I'm exhausted, but in a really good way. Like, it feels really good getting in my pajamas and it's going to feel really good snuggling up in my covers and stretching out and going to sleep :) I love when I've put in a good days work. 
Anyway, below  are pictures of my Halloween 2016 dessert platter. I think I've started a new tradition. I love it! And I'm obsessed with how everything turned out! Proud moment :) Cookies and Cream Spider cupcakes (with cookies and cream whip cream frosting) and Pumpkin Sugar cookies with homemade buttercream frosting.









I had to bring the glitter glove back! I love it so much!

PS: I'm really going to miss my Halloween background and decorations :( Especially my Thriller montage, I love it so much!!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
