My poor blog has been neglected for far too long! And enough with the depressing, emotional posts, gosh! Even though things are difficult right now, there are a few things that have been making me very happy lately. And one of those things is the Goo Goo Dolls new album Boxes. I am SO obsessed with this album! I have been listening to it on repeat for dayzzz!
 
SO. I'm going to make a goal. I will post EVERY SINGLE DAY this week and each day will be one of the new songs from Boxes. It will be sort of a like a review on each song off the album. Sound good? I think it does. Plus, all of these songs are so positive and uplifting and I just love 'em! So it's going to be fun! Enjoy!
 
This song is so much fun! Perfect song to open the album with. From the second it starts you know "this is going to be good!" It's one you definitely want to BLAST in your car with the windows down, fist-pumping! It's also great to run to. The lyrics are an amazingly perfect description for where I am in life currently and the beat is off the chain INSAYNE!! So, so fun!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
