A year ago TODAY, I had the most blessed and wonderful opportunity to attend the annual Christmas performance of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir last December where their special musical guests were the incredible Santino Fontana (Hans from Frozen) and the SESAME STREET MUPPET'S!!!! I was in HEAVEN!! It was the most magical night of my life! The Christmas spirit was true and strong! I feel so blessed, so very, very blessed to have been given that opportunity. To receive tickets to this very popular event it is done "raffle style." So, you enter your information (up to 4 tickets per household) and then participants are randomly selected. My family has tried this in previous years with no luck. BUT last year (once I found out who the guest performers were) I knew I absolutely HAD to win!! I submitted my request and prayed! Then Halloween night 2014 we got the email that we had received the very coveted tickets! I could have CRIED!

Anyway, this song was in the program and I just listened to it recently (of course I had to get the CD AND DVD of this performance, available NOW!) and was reminded of how much I had loved this whole performance and especially this sweet song. The message is so true. So sweet. It makes me want to cry. I love it, I love it, I LOVE it! I can't wait to watch the DVD and re-live that special night a year ago today :)

Unfortunatley I coulnd't find the actual performance on youtube :( You will HAVE to get the CD or DVD and listen/watch it because it truly is so beautiful! Enjoy this original version of the song. Same lyrics. Same message applies.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
