Grateful for Music Day 21: All About Your Heart

Song: All About Your Heart
Artist: Mindy Gledhill, Anchor

I love Mindy Gledhill's style of music. It's so cute, happy and whimsical! It makes me feel giddy and like a kid again! It's so much fun! I am grateful for this sweet love song today because it is so cute and has a beautiful message. No one is perfect. We all have our flaws, our quirks and unique things that make us....us. Sometimes, they're not the most pleasant. And sometimes we don't even like them ourselves. But when you love someone, you can look past those weaknesses and truly see the person's heart. At least that's what I'm assuming. I've never been in love or in a relationship so I'm just going off my imagination what I've read and seen in books and movies and heard in songs. Love songs are my weakness. I am such a romantic at heart. It can hurt sometimes. I want to badly to be in love. And to be loved. It will happen to me someday....right?

I don't mind your odd behavior
It's the very thing I love
If you were an ice cream flavor
You would be my favorite one

My imagination sees you
Like a painting by Van Gogh
Starry nights and bright sunflowers
Follow you where you may go

Oh, I've loved you from the start
In every single way
And more each passing day
You are brighter than the stars
Believe me when I say
It's not about your scars
It's all about your heart

You're a butterfly held captive
Small and safe in your cocoon
Go on you can take your time
Time is said to heal all wounds
Oh, I've loved you from the start
In every single way
And more each passing day
You are brighter than the stars
Believe me when I say
It's not about your scars
It's all about your heart

Like a lock without a key
Like a mystery without a clue
There is no me if I cannot have you

Oh, I've loved you from the start
In every single way
And more each passing day
You are brighter than the stars
Believe me when I say
It's not about your scars
It's all about your heart
