I know, I know. It seems that all I've been talking about on this blog is Hanson. Can I help it if they write incredible music that I feel such a strong connection too? Or that just makes me insanely happy? They are the best. EVER. Don't even try to argue with me.
 
Anyway, this song is AMAZING!! It's the first song on my Positive Playlist for a reason. When I first read the title of this song, "Scream and Be Free", I assumed it was going to be a party type song. Like "Yeah, let your hair down, let loose and PAR-TAY!" But I couldn't have been more WRONG. This song is incredibly powerful and inspiring. The lyrics are just.....perfect. I needed this song in my life. I still do. It's amazing. I am just in awe of this song. It's all about living your life and doing it NOW. Living in the NOW. The present. Today. Don't wait for tomorrow. Don't rely on somebody else to make your dreams happen. Don't live somebody else's dreams, live yours. We all have a story to share, we all have potential. Live your life with joy, be happy!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us. When we stop and allow ourselves to "give in" to the pain and sadness that comes with the stress of life, that's when we begin to slip and fall into a deep depression.
