Peter Hollens Christmas album, A Hollens Family Christmas, is out and I'm so excited!! I can;t wait to start listening to it. I'm also really excited because for the next several Fridays (leading up to Christmas) Peter is releasing a new music video to one of his Christmas songs off the albums! Today's was December Song and I thought it would be OK to post a Christmas song this early on because....well, it's not really strictly "Christmas" sounding....it's a song more about the spirit of Christmas and how we should always keep it with us. It's about being peaceful and kind in our interactions with one another. It's a perfect song for this time of year with all of the excitement of the holidays just beginning to happen. I love the message of this song, it's beautiful! Enjoy!!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
