Wow. This song is INSPIRING!! Just what I need in my life right now. I love this song!! The lyrics are so powerful and there are so many that jump out at me. "No sense pretending it's over, hard times just don't go away." Ain't that the truth! "Nothing good ever comes easy. All good things come in due time.....you see yourself in the mirror. And you don't like what you see. And things aren't getting much clearer. Don't you think it's time you go for a change?" YES! "Don't waste your time on the past, it's time you look to the future." I should really just quote the whole song, it's fantastic! Please give it a listen! I am so grateful for this extremely uplifting song and the strong personal connection I have to it. It warms my heart and uplifts my spirit! And Michael's passion is extremely evident, I absolutely love it! Also, the video below is the sweetest :)

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us. When we stop and allow ourselves to "give in" to the pain and sadness that comes with the stress of life, that's when we begin to slip and fall into a deep depression.
